The customer support and training representative will be responsible for the implementation of technology products purchased by our customers. The tasks include assisting the sales force with technical presentations, product introduction and training for end users and supporting our customers who may have questions and problems. The main focus of the position will be implementation after the point of sale. The CSTR will also coordinate, host and perform training in both a formal classroom and field environment. This is a support position and requires the ability to explain technology clearly and concisely while tailoring the conversation for the audience.
The successful candidate will be computer literate with an emphasis in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word programs. This team player will have strong time management, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. This individual will have the ability to work under pressure, be persistent and have a sense of urgency to the work performed. Post-secondary education in survey, civil engineering or a relevant discipline is required. Previous civil construction, survey, Trimble technology, GPS and Robotic total station experience will be considered assets.

This individual will be responsible for providing hands on support and training for the heavy and highway construction services portfolio.
- Training and supporting customers.
- Provide phone, email and/or on-site support.
- Assist in data preparation and evaluation.
- Assist in the installation, measure up and training of grade control systems.
